Challenge

Developing website for one of the most powerful institutions of the Indian government was a factor of prestige for Magnon. The project not only demanded precision but an effective and user friendly interface appealing the one billion population mass on the whole.

Implementation

With a dedicated team in place as huge a website like this was brought up within a record time of 17 days. The site is backed by powerful back-end database and content management systems. It covers crucial information regarding the Ministry and is updated from time to time with Reports, Budget Information, Ministry News, Economic Surveys, Specific Department Information, Notifications, Tenders etc. Moreover, the site has numerous interactive applications to encourage public participation. The site was launched by the Honorable Finance Minister Shri. Jaswant Singh at a press conference; promoting a transparency in the initiatives undertaken by the Ministry.. The site attracts more than a million hits every month with the number going up further.

Result

The website was successfully handled over to NIC after development. This earmarks one of the most prestigious projects in Magnon's portfolio.
